VINTAGE INSTRUMENT EXPERIENCE
All instruments are important, including older and vintage examples. Every make and model is made slightly differently and we make it our mission to understand and maintain them all! Through our years we have gained valuable experience and can approach vintage instruments with confidence and understanding. W&B Instrument Repairs is proud to service and maintain a variety of instrument collections for its customers, from Albert system clarinets to saxophones dating back as far as the early 1900's.
We have pictured, an Oscar Adler Tenor Saxophone dated to 1915. This particular example is very special as it is confirmed to be the lowest recorded serial number in the world! In fantastic condition for its age, we have had the pleasure of working on this beautiful instrument for a local saxophonist who enjoys collecting rare and vintage instruments.
We have provided a full re-pad, setup and general maintenance on this saxophone, followed by the honor of test playing it after years of it being unplayable. Check out the video above to hear it in action with a simple rendition of Fly Me To The Moon.
